Library: Interim Library

During the interim year, the Library will continue to offer all of its services and resources, but from different locations. Library Renovation Timeline: May 2012 – August 2013

In May 2012, the library moved into the interim year locations listed below.

Interim Year Locations:

Terrace Room (lower level of Bauccio Commons)
Library Public Services, which includes Circulation and Reference services, along with computer workstations and the Media Lab are located here. High-use Reference and Theology books are also available for two hour checkout.

Tyson Hall Garage & adjacent residence hall rooms
The garage houses the Library’s print collections (books, periodicals, DVDs, CDs) and there is a paging service to retrieve and deliver materials to the Terrace Room for patrons to pick up. Interlibrary Loan and Technical Services operations are also located here.

This room is the Library's classroom for the approximately 200 Information Literacy classes that are taught each year.

These locations were selected with the goal of providing the best possible library service during construction, while also minimizing campus disruption. The Library and the University recognize that the interim year will create some challenges that the University Community will weather together as we look toward a renewed and reimagined University Library.
