Library: Library Toolbar for Google Chrome
A beta version of the library toolbar is now available for Google Chrome as an extension.
Installation Instructions:
To obtain the Toolbar Extension for Google Chrome, go to http://libx.org/releases/gc/libx2-20100716.crx and select the multicolored icon in the center of the screen. [Note: this link will only work within the Google Chrome browser]:
A warning will appear in the lower left of your screen. Select “Continue.”
The next screen asks you to confirm installation. Select “Install.”
A new icon, “LibX 2.0” will appear in the upper right of your Chrome browser. Select it.
You’ll see a screen asking for a “LibX edition.” Enter “University of Portland” and you should see the option shown below. Select it.
Next, select “Load Edition” in the lower right of the LibX box.
The UP LibX extension icon replaces the LibX 2.0 icon. Your extension is now installed.
