Library: UP Library Search FAQ
UP Library Search
was launched in summer 2014. Implementing this new library system is an ongoing project and further customizations will be made over the coming months. There will be bumps along the way, but we are committed to resolving issues.
About UP Library Search
Choose Advanced Search and use the drop down menus to search by author, title, subject, etc. Use the Search Scope drop down (located to the right under the date range) to limit the search to UP Only, UP + Summit, or UP + Summit + Articles.
Thanks to your feedback, we have added a direct link to the Advanced search on our library homepage. Alternatively, you can choose Advanced Search from the Quick Search screen (link is next to the Search button).
- Choose Advanced Search
- Change Material Type to Video
- Change Search Scope to UP Only
- Enter a keyword, title, or use $$ to search all videos. Example search
- Look in left hand column of the results screen for Physical Location. Choose Popular DVDs to see what is available in that part of our collection (on the shelves next to the service desk).
Yellow = Available from a Summit library and can be delivered to you within a few days for pick up at the Clark Library Service Desk. Choose the Find or Request tab to order it through Summit.
Gray = For articles it indicates that an article is not available as full text. For books or videos, gray indicates the item is currently unavailable either locally or through Summit.
