Enter Naxos Music Library
Instructions for using Naxos Music Library
Please Logout when you are finished using Naxos by choosing the red Log Out bar in the upper right corner. Simply closing out your browser or opening another webpage will not log you outA maximum of 15 users can use Naxos at the same time.
Computer Configurations for Naxos:
If you have trouble connecting to Naxos, please make sure your computer is configured using the information below.PCMS Windows XP with
MS Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 2+, or Chrome (any version that supports Flash)
and Adobe Flash Player version 10
Internet Explorer settings: Privacy = Medium, Security = Medium-Low, Cookies = Accept All, Pop-up Blocker = Off; Sound setting = No SoundMACOS X 10.4 with
FireFox 2+, Safari 2+ or Chrome (any version that supports Flash)
and Adobe Flash Player version 9
Browser settings: Cookies = Always Accept; Pop-up Blocker = Off; Rosetta = YesIf Quicktime is set as the default media player on your MAC
- Open Quicktime
- Click "Quicktime preferences", "show all", "flip4Mac MWV"
- Check the box "Use Flip4Mac WMV Internet plug-in" and make sure "Launch Quicktime Player" is unchecked
- Reopen the browser
For Safari, Mozilla and Firefox, please also try opening them using Rosetta. You may also need to reinstall Firefox to ensure all plug-ins are installed.
Help Using Naxos Music Library:
Creating Personal PlaylistsNaxos Music Library now allows any user to create their own playlist.
Create an account:
Access your account and create playlists:
- Access the Naxos Music Library
- Choose Playlists (in the gray menu bar across the top of the page)
- Choose Sign up. You will be asked for your name, email address, and you will need to create a password.
- Once you have completed the online registration form, you will be sent an email to activate your account.
To access your playlists:
- Choose Playlists (in the gray menu bar across the top of the page)
- Choose Login. Enter the email address and password you used to create the account, and choose Login Now.
- You should now see a tab with [Your Name] Playlists; the default Current folder will appear in your tab. Choose the New link to create a new folder. You may choose the name for your folder, as well as other options.
- Once you have created a folder, choose New Playlist to create a playlist within that folder. You will be asked to name your playlist, and you may select additional options. Choose the Add Playlist button to create your playlist.
- Search for music to add to your playlist. Once you select a specific CD, check box(es) next to the track(s) you wish to add to your playlist, and choose the Add to Playlist button.
- A small window will open asking you to select where to save these tracks. Next to Folders, choose the folder where you wish to save the music; next to Playlists, choose the playlist you just created. Choose the Add to Playlist button. Alternatively, you may choose to save these tracks to a new playlist that you can create at this point.
- Choose Playlists (in the gray menu bar across the top of the page)
- Choose Login. Enter the email address and password you used to create the account, and choose Login Now.
- Choose the Folder and the Playlist you wish to access.

Playing music on a MacTo listen to music from Naxos Music Library on a Mac, follow the steps below:
- Select the music you wish to listen to, and choose the Play Selections button.
- Choose the Stream using Flash Player link on the lower left side of the window.
- The music should now start playing.
