Hours of Service

Library Chat is available 24/7.  UP Librarians and student reference assistants monitor Library Chat during all the hours the library is open. During the regular term, the hours are:

After hours, you can still get help from librarians at various academic and public libraries.

Library Chat questions will be answered on a first-come, first-served basis.  If desk staff is busy helping patrons in-person, it may take a bit longer to answer your question.

Chat Safety
