Technical Support, Copyright, and Privacy
The University of Portland Information Services Division does not provide technical support for the library browser plugin. Please contact Heidi Senior (email@example.com, or 503.943.8037) for any plugin-related assistance.
LibX copyright is held jointly by Annette Bailey and Virginia Tech, and distributed under the Mozilla Public License which states that “Covered code is provided under this license on an "as is" basis, without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, without limitation, warranties that the covered code is free of defects, merchantable, fit for a particular purpose or non-infringing.”
By using this extension your browser may send the URL of pages you are currently visiting to the UP library’s catalog server. Such information is sent only if you are actively using the extension; it is never sent automatically. If you wish to avoid this you must turn off the referrer URL by setting network.http.sendRefererHeader to 0 in your Firefox preferences (note that this may cause some web sites that require referrer information to not work correctly).
