Study Spaces
Starting February 1, the library will have 100 study seats on the main floor: 52 reservable and 48 first-come-first-served.
Students, staff, and faculty must be part of the university's COVID testing pool to study in the library.
On-site sign-in at the entry station is required for first-come-first-serve seats.

Library Seats Use Information
- All seats (including study rooms) are single-person use.
- Seats may be reserved as much as two weeks in advance.
- Reserved seats and first come first serve seats are limited to a maximum of two hours a day per person.
- Patrons are asked to clean their seat and table surface before using the seat. Cleaning supplies are located at the cleaning stations.
Library Seats Use Policies
- Masks must be worn at all times.
- Food and drink (other than a water bottle) are not allowed in order to maximize mask wearing.
- Furniture may not be moved from its designated location.
- Patrons may not book a library seat systematically or continuously.
- Patrons must be courteous toward others and keep noise levels low.
- Violation of these policies may result in patrons being blocked from reserving a library seat.
