Archives & Artifacts

Archives & Artifacts encompasses the University Archives and Museum.

Mission

The principal mission of the University of Portland Archives is to collect, arrange, preserve and service those records of permanent value created by the University; making them accessible for research and instruction, and administrative use. The University Archives also shares in the educational character of the University to promote and highlight the spiritual, philosophical and scholarly strengths of the University as a Catholic institution founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross for teaching, faith and service.

The University Museum houses a display of photos and objects connected with the historical growth of the University.

PortLog: is a digital outreach publication which highlights aspects of campus history, buildings, songs, and people.
