Library: Library Toolbar
The University of Portland's Clark Library has designed a toolbar that
gives you instant access to the library and facilitates research, wherever you are,
from the Firefox and Chrome browsers.

Library Toolbar Updates:
Both Chrome and Firefox should automatically detect updates. Additionally, under "Toolbar Preferences" you can "Check for Updates."
Uninstalling the toolbar:
Firefox: In the Firefox browser, select the Tools menu, then Add-ons. Look for the file called “LibX Browser plugin for libraries” and choose the Disable button.Chrome uninstall directions coming soon

By using this extension your browser may send the URL of pages you are currently visiting to the UP library’s catalog server. Such information is sent only if you are actively using the extension; it is never sent automatically. If you wish to avoid this you must turn off the referrer URL by setting network.http.sendRefererHeader to 0 in your Firefox preferences (note that this may cause some web sites that require referrer information to not work correctly).
